So when will that movie that was in theaters this past fall be available on DVD?
The short answer: Spring 2010. When The "Race Across The Sky" Documentary premiered in 700 theaters across the country on Oct. 22th 2009, it exceeded everyone's expectations and quickly became the little film that could.
That first night it showed to SOLD OUT audiences, which pushed it to an Encore Presentation on Nov. 12. The second showing just proved that audiences couldn't get enough of the Citizen Pictures' documentary, and has since taken on a life of its own.
It's currently being shown in 200 theaters in Canada and 300 in Australia. From there the film may be shown on TV and then eventually make it to DVD. The Leadville Trail 100 anticipates having the DVD available for sale in its online store sometime in Spring 2010.
